Brownley Co-Sponsors the “Protect Women’s Health from Corporate Interference Act”

Today, Congresswoman Julia Brownley (D-Westlake Village) and dozens of House colleagues will introduce the “Protect Women’s Health From Corporate Interference Act.” The bill would stop for-profit corporations from imposing religious beliefs on employees and denying birth control coverage. The bill maintains existing exemptions for religious employers (e.g., houses of worship) and religious non-profits.
