  • Brownley, Lee Letter to HHS
    Mar 27, 2018 | Press Releases

Brownley, Lee Lead More than 100 Democrats to Call on Department of Health and Human Services to Put Patients First and Withdraw Discriminatory Refusal of Care Rule

Today, Congresswoman Julia Brownley (D-CA) and Congresswoman Barbara Lee (D-CA) spearheaded an effort by 104 House Members to call for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to withdraw its proposed Refusal of Care rule. The letter urges HHS to withdraw this proposal and instead focus on expanding and improving health care access and coverage for all Americans.

Helping Veterans Fulfill the Dream of Small Business Ownership

We as a nation have made a promise to the heroes who put on the uniform. Small-business ownership must be accessible to all the men and women who have sacrificed on our behalf.
