I am excited to once again invite all high school students (9th through 12th grades) in California’s 26th Congressional District to participate in the 2022 Congressional Art Competition, a nationwide visual arts competition started in 1982 to recognize artistic talent across the United States.
The winning artwork will be publicly displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building for a year, along with winners from across the nation. Three honorable mention entries will also be on display in my district offices.
Students should email photographs of their artwork here. Submissions are due by Wednesday May 4, 2022. Only email submissions will be accepted, and only one art submission will be accepted per student.
