As a member of the Select Committee on the Climate Crisis, I support an all-of-the-above approach to solving our energy needs. While our nation is overly dependent on fossil fuels, we need to look at new technologies that support the development and expansion of clean, renewable, alternative energy resources, like wind, biomass, and solar. Reducing our reliance on foreign oil will have multiple benefits for our national security and our environment, and will help to create and sustain good jobs in new high-tech sectors.
