Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) is a strategic asset to our national security and will play an even greater role in our national defense as the Department of Defense continues to refocus and shift attention towards the Asia-Pacific region. Today, the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee adopted two amendments offered by Congresswoman Julia Brownley (D-Westlake Village) to the Aviation Innovation, Reform and Reauthorization Act (AIRR Act/H.R. 4441).
