2021 was a year of incredible challenges for Americans across the country – and across Ventura County. Our local and national economies were still reeling from the turmoil of the COVID-19 pandemic, many families feared for the health of their loved ones, and businesses struggled to keep their doors open.

Through it all, my staff and I continued to work hard to serve you.

I worked with my colleagues to pass the American Rescue Plan, which was essential to getting shots in arms, protective gear for frontline workers, millions of workers back to work, and money in the pockets of families trying to make ends meet.

I was also deeply involved in drafting the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the largest federal investment in our nation’s crumbling infrastructure that will create millions of good-paying jobs and rebuild our economy.

I also continued to work tirelessly to help constituents with federal agencies.

While 2021 continued to be challenging, and I know many families are still struggling to navigate the impact of the pandemic, I thought some good news would be welcome. Here are a few accomplishments that moved our community forward in 2021:

It is my honor to represent you and fight for your priorities in Congress, and I look forward to continuing to serve you in 2022.

As always, if you or someone you know needs assistance with a federal agency, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am here to help!

I wish you and your family a very happy and healthy new year!

Sincerely,

JULIA BROWNLEY
Member of Congress
