… Sharing an enthusiasm for biking and promoting National Bike Month, which celebrates cycling in May, was what inspired U.S. Rep. Julia Brownley to tour Giant Bicycles’ Newbury Park office earlier in the month.
“I want to highlight the advantages of cycling because its better for people’s health than driving, good for the environment and a great recreational activity,” said Brownley, D-Westlake Village. “It’s also a mode of transportation we need to use more, since it gets cars off the road.”
