Today, Congresswoman Julia Brownley (D-Westlake Village) announced NeighborWorks America, a public non-profit established by Congress, has awarded a $415,333 grant to Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation to foster community development and create more affordable housing in Ventura County.

Congresswoman Brownley (D-Westlake Village) has introduced a bill (H.R. 2524) that would transfer land from the Department of Homeland Security to Ventura County. The land, which is adjacent to Camarillo Airport, would be used for future airport development, providing opportunities for economic growth in Ventura County.
