“Just one day after students across the county walked out of schools demanding change, student activists gathered Saturday morning for a town hall meeting on gun violence hosted by U.S. Rep. Julia Brownley.
“Parkland has galvanized students here in the county and around the country,” Brownley, D-Westlake Village, told the crowd at at the Ventura County Office of Education in Camarillo. “You are our future voters and our future leaders and you have said, ’Enough is enough.’”
