Recently, the Counties of Ventura and Los Angeles have experienced devastating flooding and rains impacting the lives of many members of our community and throughout Southern California.
During these extreme weather events, my team and I are keeping a close watch on the conditions and coordinating with local, state, and federal officials to ensure that all the necessary resources are available to support our community. NOTE FOR VENTURA COUNTY RESIDENTS
Did you suffer damage from the recent storms that impacted Ventura County? The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Services is collecting reports from residents who suffered storm damage to their homes, personal property, and businesses. Submit a damage report at vcemergency.com before February 13, 2024. Your information will help determine if Ventura County may be eligible for assistance from state and federal resources.
REMINDER FOR RESIDENTS OF OXNARD, PORT HUENEME, AND VENTURA
The December storms and subsequent flooding that impacted Oxnard, Port Hueneme, and Ventura caused substantial damage to homes and property. If you or someone you know were affected by this weather disaster, the Small Business Administration (SBA) is here to help! The SBA has started accepting applications for low-interest federal loans. NOTE: This assistance is available to homeowners, renters, and business owners! For more information or to apply online, visit sba.gov/disaster.
SBA has also opened a Disaster Loan Outreach Center at the South Oxnard Branch Library. SBA customer service representatives are on hand to answer questions about the disaster loan program, the application process, and help individuals complete their applications.
