Thousand Oaks, CA – Today, Congresswoman Julia Brownley (D-Westlake Village) met with Donna Beiter, Director of the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, at the VA Oxnard Community-Based Outpatient Clinic.
“Yesterday, I met with local veterans’ representatives at my office to hear their views about VA services and the need for improved care in Ventura County. At today’s meeting with the VA, I discussed these concerns with Greater Los Angeles Director Donna Beiter,” said Brownley. “I am committed to ensuring that Ventura County’s veterans receive the quality care they have earned and deserve in a timely manner. While there remains much work to do, I am hopeful that through greater cooperation with local community advocates, better transparency, and the additional resources provided by Congress, the VA will better serve veterans in our community and across the nation. My commitment is to continue to hold the VA accountable until they succeed.”
