Washington, D.C.—Representative Julia Brownley (D-Westlake Village) released the following statement today in remembrance of the 12th anniversary of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks.
“Today, we remember those who lost their lives on 9/11, and our thoughts and prayers go out to their family members. We are grateful for the heroic efforts of the crew and passengers on United Flight 93, for first responders, and for the countless volunteers who selflessly helped others in need.
“September 11th, 2001 was a tragic day for all Americans, but twelve years later, our country remains unified, resilient, and determined as ever to keep America safe.”
