In Congress, I have voted to support balanced regulation of our financial services sector.

We have a responsibility to protect the financial and retirement security of Americans. We need to ensure that Wall Street is appropriately regulated so that working families, their homes, and their retirement savings are protected.

However, we also need to ensure that businesses, both large and small, have access to capital that they need to grow and thrive in the 21st Century economy, creating jobs and generating economic growth.
