Washington, D.C.—Representative Julia Brownley will travel to Israel on Monday to gain a firsthand understanding of some of America’s most pressing foreign policy challenges. Brownley will learn more about the U.S.-Israel relationship, the peace process, Israel’s security situation, and important political and economic trends in the region. She will meet with senior Israeli and Palestinian leaders and explore opportunities for bilateral economic and technological cooperation with the Israeli business community.
The trip is sponsored by the American Israel Education Foundation (AIEF). AIEF Israel seminars are considered among the most substantive, rigorous, and valuable opportunities for Members of Congress to learn about the U.S.-Israel relationship. The trip is paid for by the AIEF, which is privately funded by American citizens.
Brownley departs on Monday, August 5th and returns on Monday, August 12th.
